Vitality from Recycle

The design concept for this exhibit is to integrate ideas for greening with aesthetics of gardening.  In this plot, the footpaths are paved with wood pieces from fallen trees; the pavilion is constructed with recycled materials; the small greenhouse is made of aquaponics plastic bottles; the little bridge is built with logs, and the landscaped water feature is created using piles of oyster shells.  The garden plot so formed not only showcases its great natural beauty but also conforms with the principles of 3Rs (recycle, reuse and regeneration).  It makes no difference if you stroll along the footpaths or stand on the bridge.  Whilst looking around, you will be greeted by lush vibrant plant growth, with a lively ambience in the air.  Family members can take a walk in morning breeze to see flowers, enjoying a moment of union together.  As the sun sets, the evening glows add great charm to the gorgeous flowers.  It can be said that the scenery in the garden looks distinctively alluring, whether it be in the morning or evening.

Ease and Relaxation

The design concept of this garden is inspired by the outdoor yards of small town cafés in Europe.  Elegantly designed, the yards are immensely popular among locals, with some lounging for hours.  Such pleasant environments also draw tourists to the cafés to enjoy a great time.

In the middle of the garden is a painting’s frame capturing the impressive springtime scenery of blossoming flowers and lush trees.  Sitting on the platform in solitude, one may empty the mind and relax physically and mentally.   With the twists and turns of life, it is always a good idea to sing aloud and take them easy.  Whether sweet or bitter, favourable or otherwise, all things should be regarded as nothing more than a storm in a teacup.
